CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Our jewelry is precious and delicate. Being small sculptures, we encourage customers to take extra care when wearing it daily.
We recommend that customers remove jewelry before participating in physical activity. Doing rough hand work may damage a stone or the shape of a ring. Exposure to some harsh chemicals or environments will result in compromising the physicality of your jewelry. This includes, but is not limited to the following: perspiration, perfumes, cleaning agents, chlorine, salt water, and silver polish.
Our Sterling silver pieces will tarnish over time. An occasional wipe with a clean silver polishing cloth with help maintain our silver’s luster and shine. Storing sterling silver jewelry in an air tight plastic bag or container will also help minimize the tarnish.
Please store jewelry pieces separately in a box or a pouch to avoid scratching.
Cleaning Your Jewelry
Pour a small amount of mild soap into lukewarm water and use a small, soft toothbrush to clean your jewelry. Toothbrushes are ideal for cleaning jewelry with intricate details. If you find you still need additional cleaning for your gemstones, gold, or silver create a bubble bath for them. Add a few drops of mild dish soap into a small bowl of sodium-free seltzer water or club soda (the carbonation can help loosen soil and remove debris). Put the jewelry into a small strainer, and place it in the bowl to soak for about five minutes. Swish it around, removing each piece and gently brush over settings and crevices with a soft toothbrush. Return items to the strainer and rinse under running water; dry with a soft cloth. This particular cleaning method should not be used to clean jewelry with cultured freshwater pearls. For styles that contain cultured freshwater pearls: Simply wipe with a soft cloth, microfiber jewelry cloth or chamois, either damp or dry, to remove any skin oils or dirt. A drop of olive oil on the cloth can be used to help maintain the luster. If damp, lay them on a soft cloth to dry before storing.
